What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is there for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

Safety

This is the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
